Agliana lies in the Pistoia Plain, the flat stretch of central Tuscany between the cities of Pistoia and Prato, not far from Florence. The town's territory is crossed by the Ombrone Pistoiese stream, which over the centuries has shaped a fertile, regular landscape. History and origins
