History and origins
The origins of Castel Condino are rooted in the rural past of the Giudicarie, a land shaped for centuries by a mountain economy based on farming, livestock and woodland resources. The name itself recalls an ancient fortified settlement linked to the control of the valley, in a strategic area of passage between the Chiese valley floor and the side valleys leading toward the Adamello.
