Malosco is located in the upper Val di Non, on the slope facing Fondo and the Anaunia basin, a short distance from the Palade Pass which marks the border with Alto Adige. Since 2020, the village has been part of the municipality of Borgo d'Anaunia, created by the merger with Fondo and Castelfondo. Its elevated and open position offers wide views of the surrounding mountains and a cool climate even in mid-summer, which has long made it a popular place for holidaymakers to stay and rest.
History and Castel Malosco
El simbol storich del borc è el Castel de Malosco, maner de origin medieval che la domina l'abitato da l'alt de un riliev boscos. Coma des edi castèi de l'Anaunia, la scodissa le vicende dei siori locai e de le ancia giurisdizions de la val. El senter el conserva l'impiant ciodol del paìs de montagna, con cà de preda, portal e corti tradizionai.
