The Ladin municipality of Alta Badia in the Dolomites
Badia is one of the five municipalities of Alta Badia, the Ladin valley that unfolds in the heart of the Dolomites of South Tyrol, recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Besides the main village, the municipality includes the two hamlets of La Villa (La Ila) and San Cassiano (San Ciascian), each with its own tourist identity yet united by the same language, the same traditions and the same extraordinary landscape.
